In the Smithsonian
I read about
a new telescope
that will allow scientists
to virtually explore
twenty billion galaxies.
I picture Star Trek
on steroids.
And here
we are yet unable
to figure out intelligently,
heartfully,
how to adequately
take care of our one.

My mind is blown to smithereens
By the stupendous thought of 20 billion galaxies
WHAT! The whys and whens and hows
Impossible to fathom
Belief in God the only comfortable place to turn.
