The Witness

The innate which saw
First glimpses of Creation.

The sudden unexpected
Change
From nothingness
To Glorious.

Now stares back at me
As I gaze
In awe of its
Simplicity
And
Endurance.

And wonder
What it must have
Been like
To burst forth into
Life.

Author of a memoir, Morning, he is currently working on a murder mystery told from a pastor's point of view. Dan enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and family and exploring the Blue Ridge mountains near his home.
