I awake, put on my clothes,
eat the usual breakfast, and stroll
to the sun-lit campus quad
where, at the moment, she's leaving
the library. I see a student--
who is she? -- she's in a course
we're both taking this semester.
So I stop in her path to say "Hi"
and marry her for sixty years.
